Great story from Cleveland Plain Dealer on their ongoing audition for principal trombone spot with Massimo La Rosa from the La Fenice Opera House.

If anyone from the orchestra can provide updates as to Massimo La Rosa's progress over the weeks, it would be most welcomed.

I heard that Massimo is a fantastic player and was recommended to Cleveland by Joe Alessi, NY Philharmonic, after attending his seminar in Italy last summer.

I don't know who else they are considering.
