Hello!

I was wondering if anyone knows about being an organist for a Broadway show? I have been an organist for 16 years, and a pianist for almost 50 years, and am curious about Broadway. I would think not many shows use organs, but for those that do, is it very difficult to get a position?

The broadways gigs are highly coveted and very well paid. The people I know have all gotten them via personal contacts. I would contact the AFM local to see if they know a booking agent. Perhaps others can help you more.
