What do you do when asked to play an exerpt again during an audition?

Choices:
Play it again with changes requested (if I can)
Play it exactly the same
Freeze up and play it worse than ever
Play it better because it seems they like me
Don't make it louder even if requested

 

hmmm...what happens when they ask for an excerpt again, but they don't say why? Then what to do? I was once asked to do an excerpt over, and two individuals requested entirely opposite things! I was too nervous and young to speak up, so I think I ended up trying to satisfy both at the same time, which made things even worse.
