Does anyone have any recommendations for (relatively) inexpensive health insurance options, i.e. for a young musician like myself, fresh out of grad school...? I'm a finalist for a few jobs, but none includes health insurance or pays a heck of a lot.

In many cities around the country, local arts agencies or arts "service" organizations often provide health insurance at low cost to their members. Several national arts service organizations do, too.

Hi All: There's always the old Blue Cross Blue Shield "Catastrophic Care" plan. Low premiums, but your deductible is pretty high.

The first one that comes to mind is Chamber Music America. Call your local or state arts councils - someone there may know of local organizations who can help you.
