I have a BM degree and have been a professional musician for the last two years. I am thinking of grad school, specifically Music Education. I heard that Indiana University has a really great program. Has anyone attended IU in the Music Ed program?

Thanks,

Henrietta,
Tel Aviv

I graduated from the IU School of Music as a performance major.

IU has a great program including the Music Ed program. You get the benefit of university life while you attend a world class school of music.

There are many opportunities to perform in a diverse group of ensembles, from orchestras to the marching band.

In addition, they have a world class faculty that is just as good as any conservatory you might be thinking of attending.

If you need more info, you can look them up on Music Edu under Universities. Search for Music in Indiana. MyAuditions provides valuable info on their programs with links to the school Web site.

Good luck!
