Instrumental Musicians are invited to join the Seacoast Wind Ensemble for a rewarding, educational, and challenging musical experience. An adult volunteer concert band, SWE welcomes adult and proficient high school musicians. Rehearsals are Tuesday evenings from 7 – 9:30 p.m. and are conducted in the Seacoast area. The ensemble is under the direction of interim conductor Amy Morse. Our typical concert schedule includes our annual "Sounds of the Season" concert in December, a Patron's concert in the spring, and an extensive summer season. To further music education in the region, we are proud to include an annual “Music in our Schools” concert among our activities. SWE has made two CDs as part of an ongoing recording project. We also rehearse and perform with numerous vocal and instrumental groups in the seacoast area.
Instrumentation includes: trombone, euphonium, tuba, string bass, flute/piccolo, oboe (English horn), bassoon, all clarinets and saxophones, trumpet/cornet, French horn, percussion and harp. Not to be a downer but this is the second time Laura has put up a posting of solicitation. I thought that this type of stuff on the myauditions forums was not allowed? Am I wrong? Is the forum moderator aware of these postings?
