I read that the Auckland Philharmonic has job openings and they are doing it by submitting a CD recording. I found this rather odd such a way to audition.

They are not going to do any live auditions? I assume they will arrange proper work visas to work in New Zealand and will they help with moving/traveling expenses? Seems like an awful far way to travel for a job.

I would go just to live in New Zealand. great country, great people. oh, I hear they have a great orchestra as well.
