The winner is the current principal of the Florida Orchestra in Tampa. **** fine player, and it doesn't surprise me in the least. A couple of days ago I had the opportunity to congratulate him. He said initially he wasn't going to audition, but the concertmaster of OSO, formerly concertmaster of TFO, talked him into it. Nice going Amy! I am sure he will do quite well in Oregon.
