I think it is a nice idea that myauditions is featuring school programs each month in their special report.

IU is an awesome school. I had friends who turned down Juilliard to go to Indiana just because they would be able to get a more rounded experience in a university setting, rather then a conservatory... even if it is NYC and Juilliard.

how does IU balance musicians who earned a performance degree and wants to attend this program with traditional students who have obtained business degrees? seems like musicians would be at a disadvantage.

does anyone know if you have to have an undergrad degree in music to go to this program? from the Web site, i don't know if it matters.

I will be auditioning for IU school of music in March. has anyone on these forums attended IU before? what experiences can you share?
