2. CELEBRITY CHAT - DOUGLAS YEO: BASS TROMBONE

Before joining the Boston Symphony Orchestra & Boston Pops Orchestra in May 1985, Douglas Yeo was a member of the Baltimore Symphony Orchestra from 1981-1985 and was on the faculties of both the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore and the Catholic University of America in Washington, D.C. He holds a bachelor of music degree with honor from Wheaton College in Illinois and a master of arts degree from New York University, He currently sits on the faculty of the New England Conservatory of Music. He is also an active performer with early music groups (playing serpent, ophicleide and sackbut) including Boston Baroque and Boston's Handel and Haydn society.
