So here is my first ever on-line blog posting. I hope somewhere along the way I say something you all find interesting. I currently teach percussion at the University of North Carolina at Pembroke. It is a program where I am the first full-time percussion teacher they have had in awhile so it is quite a bit like building a new program. This years big endeavour is starting a steel band that had been asked to do a gig before it had even met, but after the first rehearsal it appears we will make it.
