So here is a big topic of conversation to open up. My school is currently in a state in which NO music (including uncopyrighted manuscripts written for us) can be copied. We all understand that there are legal issues involved. I am wondering if anyone out there has any insight as to how other schools cope with this. I know that our accompanists are having a breakdown because they are going to about need a shopping cart to haul their scores around for lessons !!! It will also cost huge amounts of money to have a student score, accompanist score and teacher score for every single piece (sometimes enough for 2-3 studios even).

BTW - I do require all of my students to own the originals of their pieces, but as a percussionist I don't often have accompanists to deal with.
