Just getting ready for a chamber music concert by the Brooklyn Bridge--ah, the protesters! Maybe I should hail them down here and seel-out the house! Was listening on the way in the old classic setting recording of the Bolling 'Suite for Flute and Jazz Piano'--absolutely love the piece! Any fanciful flautists (aka flutists) out there reading that would entertain the idea to perform it in your neck of the woods? There's also the 'Suite for Violin and Jazz Piano'--might be a great concerts (cd??)James Galway--you reading this?? You're the heir apparent for this piece, no doubt.
